In 1998, when Juozas Klimkevičius founded a private company, he had strong enthusiasm and a clear ambition to apply the business practices he had observed abroad to the Lithuanian market. And he succeeded!
This summer of 2023, the company “Hidraulinės sistemos,” based in Domeikava, Kaunas District, celebrates its 25th anniversary. The head of the company, which has now reached its twenty-fifth year, states that maintaining a strong position in the hydraulics sector requires not only performing your work flawlessly but also respecting your customers and having the support of leading partners.

Strong expertise in cylinder repair

At the beginning of its operations, the company focused primarily on hydraulic hose manufacturing and the sale of hydraulic components. Today, the company is recognized as one of the strongest in the field of hydraulic cylinder repair. This is reflected both in the number of clients and the volume of work performed — on average, around 300 hydraulic cylinders are manufactured and repaired each month in the workshop.
The company’s warehouses stock approximately 50,000 various seals used in machinery manufacturing, industrial equipment, and more. If a required seal is not in stock, it can be manufactured within 10 minutes using SKF CNC machines.
Service operations represent a highly significant part of the company’s activities. These include maintenance and repair services for forestry and wood-processing equipment, agricultural machinery, municipal and road maintenance machinery, construction equipment, and more.
The company also specializes in the repair of hydraulic components such as pumps, hydraulic motors, and valves, as well as in the restoration and manufacturing of metal structures.

UAB “Hidraulinės sistemos” is located in the center of Lithuania, near the Vilnius–Klaipėda highway, making the company easily accessible. Its convenient location in Kaunas allows customers to reach it comfortably from any part of the country — an important factor contributing to the company’s success.
However, customers do not necessarily need to bring their machinery to the company’s repair facility. Upon request, UAB “Hidraulinės sistemos” technicians can perform repair work on-site, travelling to the specified location with a specialized service vehicle equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment for mobile service operations.
