Description
Festo HGL-3/8-B is a pneumatically piloted non-return valve designed to allow compressed air flow in one direction and block flow in the opposite direction. When pilot pressure is applied to the separate pilot port, the check valve is released, allowing reverse flow.
This function is used in pneumatic systems where air flow needs to be securely blocked and released on command, for example to help maintain the position of a pneumatic cylinder.
