Description
Hallite PS-43 hydraulic piston seal designed for double-acting hydraulic cylinders operating under high-pressure and heavy-duty conditions. The seal provides effective sealing between the piston and cylinder bore, reduces internal hydraulic fluid leakage and helps maintain efficient cylinder performance.
The seal consists of a central NBR rubber element, two fabric-reinforced NBR sealing sections and POM (polyoxymethylene) guide rings. As pressure increases, the rubber element energises the sealing sections against the mating surfaces. The POM guide rings provide protection against extrusion and help support lateral piston loads. The fabric-reinforced elements offer good wear resistance and retain lubricant to reduce friction.
The seal is suitable for operating pressures up to 700 bar, movement speeds up to 0.5 m/s and temperatures from –30 to +100 °C.
